CACP DONOR HONOREES
We would like to thank 2019 Partner level donor, Ivan Lima for his gift of creating the logo for CACP Research Foundation.
Ivan Lima, Owner & Creative Director of Ivan Lima Design
His origin story is the subject of endless debates and sub-reddit threads. Some say Ivan Lima was formed when a bolt of lightning chipped a small block off the Cristo Redentor statue overlooking Rio de Janeiro. Others vehemently insist he is Samba in human form. A small but vocal minority claim to have evidence that he is the last living descendent of a long lost tribe for which the capital of Peru is named.
Wherever you fall in the debate, one surely can agree that Ivan emigrated from Brazil to the U.S. at the age of 9, to Nashville. He moved to Charleston and graduated from C of C with a B.S. in Psychology, then ventured to San Francisco to begin his career in Graphic Design. His name however, still triggers red flags with homeland security.
Oakland, CA is where he truly gained momentum in the creative community, taking on such clients as Adidas, Golden State Warriors, the Oakland A's, and lifestyle brand Oaklandish. To contribute to the community that embraced him, he founded the CreativeMornings/Oakland chapter. In 2015 he moved back to Charleston and took on lead role at CreativeMornings/Charleston chapter. He now spends his time highlighting our community's strongest and most innovative voices, branding local companies, and fighting the good fight.
